  “Really cold food, had to ask them to microwave it, atmosphere was a bit loud and music was up a bit too high to hear our server (who actually did a good job despite our complaints). We got ignored by another one but probably because of the loud atmosphere. Food was less than standard and tasted really bad and cold, after microwaving you could taste it just wasn’t fresh. I’m a regular customer here but I feel extremely let down and no real apology from the manager on duty, avoid this place on Saturday evenings for sure and I’ll probably never come back to this one as I’m leaving disappointed and upset. Lift out of order doesn’t help either, but understandable it’s not the places fault”

  “As far as a toby carvery experience, This one wasn't great. Service was terrible. Veggies were dry and the stuffing was dry and horrible. Must have been sitting for a while. The Yorkshire pudding were crispy even after gravy was added. It's supposed to me crispy but pillowy and soft. The only redeeming factor was the meat was very juicy. I would think again before going again”

  “We went to toby carvery today but we wont ever go here again after being dissapointed. The vegtables were dry and wasnt being toped up at all .The mac an cheeses was watery with no taste at all ,and you had a very small portion of meat there was a family beside us they took one bite and left after they said it was disgusting and that they could make better in there house honestly i agree with them asfore there was no vegtables and hardly any meat .One of the staff members took our plates and when't to the kitchen and said everybody is leaving their food so isn't that telling the staff that something is wrong with their food i was absoultley appauled when the waiter said 47.50 for the food . After leaving more people were leaving right behind us saying how disgusting it was. Very dissapointed😔 if i could give a 0 stars i would have. The only one enjoying that meal is the bin. Bon appetit 🗑”

  “Amber took us too our table very efficiently and politely. Asked if we require drinks and are we here for carvery. No waiting at tge carvery to be served,food was piping hot. Amber checked in with us to make sure everything was OK,which it was. I don't usually do reviews,but on this occasion I needed to. Well done Amber your customer service was amazing.   “Outstanding food every single time, we never have a bad meal. Meat and veg all cooked to perfection. The staff are next level and so friendly. Jasmine Evans served us today, they managed to squeeze me my partner and my son in last minute which we are grateful for. Will definitely keep coming back in the future.   “My other half made it to his early 40s before having his first Toby Carvery and he was very impressed. Neither of us could resist going for the king-size which meant we were far too full for a pudding so we've agreed that we'll go standard next time 😂 The place was spotlessly clean, staff were lovely and the food was incredible. Only marking down due to us sat there for a good 10-15 minutes with empty plates unsure if anyone would be around to settle the bill so we walked up to the entrance desk to find two servers sat down having a chinwag (they both moved when they saw us so I didn't get the impression that it was break time for them 🫣). However, despite the tiny inconvenience we will be back and it was well worth the 60 mile round trip!”

  “We visited Toby on Monday and found parking at the shopping centre to be hassle-free. The restaurant is located on the first floor with convenient lift access. We requested a window seat overlooking the High Street, which was accommodated perfectly. The music was chill and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and engaged wonderfully with the children. Even the chef was approachable, preparing food exactly to our requests with a smile. Pork crackling was amazing I haven't had them for ages.”

  “My brother and I arrived without booking however we were given a table with no problem. Staff made great allowances for my food allergies and made sure none of their menu had coconut in it as I'm allergic. The food was tasty, plentiful and fresh 👍”

  “This carvery is very modern decorated is located on the upper floor of a shopping centre. It has a lift if you need to come with a person with disabilities. The place accept bookings , service was nice. I must say they checked for allergies 4 times and made me sigh a form that I have been checked. The meat was nice the vegetables not that great maybe because was 6pm they have been there all day under the heat. They did not have enough gravy. They have a nice selection of drinks.You can pay with card or cash. Parking is not free.”
