  “Terrible Service, Overpriced, and Unprofessional – Never Again Took the family to Yo! Sushi for lunch based on a recommendation, and it was a complete mistake. The front-of-house staff were total NPCs—sluggish, completely devoid of personality, and operating with zero customer service skills. They couldn't even make eye contact. The server literally took two drink orders and walked off mid-sentence before I could order the other four. The kitchen team looked entirely unprofessional, and the belt was barely stocked, forcing us to order half the food manually. It’s modestly expensive for what you get, but paying premium prices for zero atmosphere and atrocious service makes it a complete waste of money. Do not waste your time or money here. I won't be back.”

  “We came for the bottomless sushi, definitely worth it! Callum was cooking next to us and he was such a friendly face. Made great conversation and got us stuff off the belt that we weren’t able to reach before other people. If I was his manager I’d promote him!!!”

  “My partner and I ordered the Chicken Bulgogi and Korean Fried Chicken Rice Bowl. We did get this through Deliveroo, however the portion size we received was less than half the size shown on their pictures online. We both received 3 or fewer pieces of chicken, for meals that cost £10 Even the kimchi pot was tiny. The food was very underflavoured as well.”

  “We came for the all you can eat buffet and had a great time! The sushi itself was great but the chef named Calum made our night! From the second we sat down, he was so friendly, giving us some advice and having a chat throughout our visit. Despite being busy, Calum noticed I was looking for the candy floss cheesecake dish and went out of his way to find it for me. All staff were very friendly but I’d like to give a huge thank you to Calum for going above and beyond for us and for being such a lovely person in general!”

  “Very kind staff and great service. I’m giving 3 stars because, although the website states that the NHS discount is available Monday to Sunday at all locations (except the two airport branches), we were told it wasn’t valid on Saturday for some reason. Also, the beer wasn’t served at a good temperature—it was quite warm.”

  “One of our shady figures but God's light will find them even in the shadows. If they do more all you can eat sushi Thursday, I'd be down to chow down! I love a challenge especially if you are doing it for the Jesus Christ are Lord and Saviour. That is not the only thing that is challenging, the prices is also one of them. Devil's work never stops but if you let the Holy Spirit into you, maybe it would knock some sense into your soul and your wallet. It's delicious though, so I let the devil slip in every now and then.”

  “Absolutely LOVE Yo Sushi! Always a wonderful dining experience! The food is always fresh and tasty and the staff are always really friendly. Even if you don't love fish, there are plenty of meat and veggie options. It's suitable for everyone”

  “Stopped by for lunch after some shopping. The conveyor belt concept is definitely cool…you can just grab whatever catches your eye as it passes by. The pricing is based on the colour of the dishes, which is a fun and easy system to follow. The food was fresh and of decent quality, but not the best sushi I’ve had. There was an overuse of mayo and sauces on many dishes, which masked the actual flavours. The selection was also quite limited, with hardly any tuna options…mostly salmon based items. We also tried the Japanese fries, which were actually quite good. Service was professional, friendly, and quick. Overall, it was an okay experience. Worth a try if you're curious about the concept, but not a go-to spot for serious sushi lovers.”

  “Despite silly numbers of people in Cardiff for the Billy Joel concert, we only had a short wait to eat. The food was delicious, freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff were lovely despite being under a lot of pressure”
