The mix and match menu includes sharing platters, and loaded chip shop waffle fries are another option for the table. Orders are placed at the bar. “Staff are really friendly helpful and welcoming . We called in mid afternoon so it wasnt too busy we had a bit of a wait for our food but when it arrived it was piping hot and was cooked really nicely and full of flavour .”

“Staff are so welcoming. Always a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Family friendly. The food is consistently good and always piping hot with plenty of help yourself quality condiments. Wine and cocktails as so reasonably priced. It has a beautiful outside garden eating area. Ideal in the summer with children. The last time I checked a family meal was about £16, amazing value and it enables a young family to eat out with their children. A real treat for the children. Also if you have the Sizzler group app. each time you have a meal and pay using your app you get a token. You get a free drink after a couple of visits, then a surprise treat after I think 4 visits. Eventually after 7 visits you have 33% off a meal for up to 8 people. It's amazing.”

“Arrived at 12ish ordered 5 meals with the barmaid. 4 of us received our meals but not the 5th person.i went and spoke to barman he said 5th meal not ordered,so i reordered and asked it to be rushed through as we had all finished our meals the barmaid came and apolagised. At 2pm we were still waiting so my daughter went and asked the barman again he just said oh well lots of people have ordered since you put your order in . As it was the pubs mistake it would of been good customer service to put the reordered food through first as we were all waiting to leave. So i think we need to find a new place to eat in future”

“Visited here recently for food, and I'll start off by saying that previous visits have been satisfactory but on this occasion the whole experience was sub-par. The table, condiments, cutlery and menus were grubby and sticky. The bar maid allowed a regular drinker to cut into the queue at the bar, God forbid he didn't get his next pint sharpish, then proceeded to have a five minute conversation with him whilst the queue extended out the door. Two of our party ordered the mix and match menu of the sharing platters. A third ordered a regular meal but upgraded the fries to the loaded chip shop waffle fries. The sharing platters were a joke. Could barely call them starters, the food was tepid at the most in temperature and what was meant to be chicken fries to share between two people, was actually three wrangled bits of frozen, dry, tasteless chicken. Sauces were served in cheap and nasty plastic pots. I'm all for convenient pub grub but this was taking the mick. The chip shop loaded waffle fries were in fact not waffle fries but bog standard frozen fries. They were drenched in packet mix luke warm curry sauce and pathetic bits of grated cheese. The gravy served with the burger was also watery, bland and obviously made up from granules. Wouldn't bother eating here again. We all wished we hadn't wasted time and money and instead spent the same amount or less on a takeaway, which would have been tastier, hotter and actually worth it.”
