  “I’ve been to this location a couple of times now, and I have to start by saying how amazing the food is! I would highly recommend trying any of the dishes, but if I had to choose a favourite, it would definitely be the Katsu Curry. The chicken is perfectly cooked and incredibly crispy, making it a really hearty and satisfying meal that leaves you feeling nice and full. Even though I’m not usually a Boba drinker, I have to say that every time I visit, I end up getting one! They’re really tasty and pair perfectly with pretty much any meal from the menu. Overall, the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. The only issue I’ve experienced is that the collection point can get very busy and crowded. This wouldn’t be much of a problem on its own, but it’s also where the cutlery is located and where you return your trays, which can make it slightly awkward to manoeuvre around people, especially during busy periods. The restaurant itself is a good size, although the seating area isn’t quite large enough to accommodate a lot of visitors at once. On occasion, you may therefore need to get your food to go. That being said, when you do manage to get a seat, the atmosphere is great and makes for a really enjoyable experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting Cambridge. In my opinion, it’s definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in the city!”

  “The moment we walked into the restaurant, we felt like we were in Japan! 🇯🇵 The atmosphere, interior, and overall ambience were amazing. I had seen this restaurant many times from the outside but had never tried it before. Yesterday, I finally decided to go in, and I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the prices. They were very competitive and affordable, especially considering the beautiful and rich interior. I really loved the combination of great pricing, delicious food, and excellent service. A special thanks to Laxman Sridhara. On the day we visited, he was working in the frying section, and he prepared the Chicken Pumpkin Katsu for us. It was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly! 🍗 Overall, a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again! ❤️”

  “Had the Beef Curry Rice and Pork Chashu Don - both dishes were 10/10 for me. As a side we had chicken Gyoza and Prawn Tempura - they were so good as well. Wasn’t that busy on Saturday because we went inside just before 12, so avoided the peak lunch time. Therefore everything was quick.”

  “I come here with my girlfriend at least once a week, we absolutely love it here. Food tastes amazing and they give really generous portions! I definitely recommend this for a casual lunch/dinner and the katsu curry is a must try!”

  “The sushi was beautifully prepared — fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. Each piece was well-balanced, with high-quality fish that really stood out and rice seasoned just right. You could tell a lot of care went into every roll, making the whole experience feel refined without being pretentious. The bun was just as impressive: soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The filling was rich and satisfying, and the textures worked perfectly together. It’s the kind of bite that feels comforting yet elevated. Sushi and bun together made for a seriously enjoyable meal — simple, thoughtful, and done really well”
