Customer Review Summary
Most praise centers on flavor, with a potato dansak singled out for its spice and lime sourness, alongside peshawari naan and an onion bajee. Reviewers also mention good portions and lovely service. Complaints are sharper: chapatis resembling tortillas, too many large onions in the foil packets, and a delivery with dry rice, rubbery papadums and only warm food. One diner left confused over a gluten-free korma request.

“Asked if I could have a potato dansak as I didnt fancy any meat, and it was bloody delicious, curry, 2 chapati, peshawari naan for around £16 which did me for two meals, cannot complain! Dansak had a good level of spice and sourness from lime as well, may have found my new favourite comfort food”

“Vegetarians and vegans always triple check everything. After asking and checking and being reassured that all ordered would be suitable, it was delivered. All dishes decanted, bits of meat in the sauces, bones in some dishes. I will add that whilst asking of ingredient confirmation, they did try and block the mouthpiece of the phone but they still could be heard, all nan contains milk, we could hear them saying say no! Rice dry and hard, obviously not fresh. The papadums were soft, bendy and rubbery. All food was just warm. £5 delivery charged, even though we live ten minutes drive away. Disgusting service, food and costs. Will advise others, will not buy foods from them again.”

“This was the second worst dining experience of my life”

“We bought two main dishes, 4 chapatis and naan, plus tarka dhal. The food waa delicious, but spoilt by far too many large onions in the foil packets. WE also had an onion bajee which was amazing. But the chapaties were more like tortieers, not made wiTh chapati flour. Not keen on rice, so chapaties are important in my meal. So small improvments then it will be a 5”

“I’m really sad to rate this 3 stars but their lack of awareness for allergens is scary. A member of our party is Gluten free (allergy) we asked if popadoms were gluten free. They said they were not. We asked what main dishes we could have. We were told curries. When they tried to order a korma we were told they couldn’t, when we asked why they said they couldn’t have any creamy ones because of milk and cream being used. We then said gluten is flour and they suddenly said it shouldn’t have any flour in it. This was incredibly concerning that they seem to have zero awareness around allergens and makes me wonder what else about their food hygiene rating is wrong!”
