  “We were staying locally a few miles away and headed to a pub , although open they were not doing food . The lady suggested Arthur's Restaurant, but wasn't sure it would be open . We headed to Arthur's Restaurant and fortunately it was open . We were greeted warmly in the lovely air-conditioned restaurant which was modern and fresh in design. We explained we didn't have a table booked or weren't staying on site but that wasn't a problem. We were taken to a lovely table and menus given to us. The food was fresh tasty and they were big portions. We were so happy we'd found this place . Would highly recommend. All the staff were friendly and professional in their customer service skills.”

  “We dined at Arthur’s on a special Chinese night, where a set menu was offered to all guests—a detail that was communicated to us at the reception, and we were happy to proceed. The service and atmosphere were outstanding, creating a welcoming and elegant dining experience. However, the food itself fell short of expectations, resembling the quality of a standard Chinese takeaway rather than a restaurant meal. While some items, like the prawn toast and chicken soup, stood out as flavorful, many of the main courses were overly saucy and sweet, with some dishes lacking depth in flavor. A touch of spice or heat would have added much-needed balance, though I understand the intent to cater to a wide audience. Overall, the food wasn’t disappointing, but it didn’t quite rise to restaurant standards, leaning more towards the level of a takeaway.”

  “We visited here whilst staying at a nearby cottage. We were a table of 11 and when booking we were asked to preorder, which was more than ok. All I can say is the whole meal was fantastic. The cocktails were great. The steak and ale pie was honestly the best homemade pie I have ever had. The lamb cutlets were delicious and the chicken tikka kebabs were a big hit. The deserts were crazy, such big portions and tasted amazing. The only slight issue we had was, dare I say it, too much cheese on the pizzas. But it didn't spoil the meal. If you were thinking about going here I wouldn't hesitate. Everything was made fresh and was tasty, with decent portions, what more could you ask for.”
