  “Lovely cafe with fantastic range of snacks. Met family there for a bit of lunch during a gorgeous lovely day. Able to take my dog on a lovely stroll too on the common. Top highlight was Sidolis Ice Cream though 👅 😛 😝”

  “What a place!! I was recommended a visit yesterday and I was not disappointed when I dropped in for some lunch today. I've never seen a place like it the staff are right in view assembling orders quickly my breakfast in a box was ready in about 5 minutes and I think the ladies assembled more than 15 orders in that time. Amazing! I then sat in a lovely clean seating area with beautiful views and a cool breeze and enjoyed my food. If they had beds I'd book in for the week. Will most definitely be returning and recommending others to visit 10/10”

  “Lovely place and the food is brilliant. Plenty of food options with generous portion sizes. I had a 8oz steak wrap with chips and it came to around £10. Lovely seating area and they also sell ice creams. Worth a visit if you're in the area.”

  “Take your appetite! Big portions, I had the chicken and stuffing...it beat me into submission! Other half had cheese burger and medium fries... they were more like large fries... he managed to eat it all but it was a lot of food! The prices are good, portions huge and food is tasty... what more can you say! Oh... it's dog friendly and you order/pay at the machines inside...quick and easy! The ice-cream selection is a bit overwhelming, there's a lot to choose from... even had bara brith and welsh cake flavours! They did have two plants based flavours. All the staff were lovely. Fully accessible! Benches all around the back and sides. Trails for walks leading off from the car park. Dog wash available.”

  “An absolutely hidden gem, seen this place on TikTok and I had to go! Fed all 6 of us for under £40. Absolutely great food, friendly staff and a highly organised operation getting food out in even the busiest periods. There’s a huge car park and a few walks that lead off from it when your trying to work off your breakfast. BLOODY GORGEOUS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🍔”

  “Fantastic burgers - the way they are supposed to taste. None of this fast food nonsense. And loads of ice cream choices if you still have room for dessert. Picnic tables on a deck with a view. Right across the road from a short walk up to a peak - or a slightly steeper path to an even higher peak with incredible views of the villages below - right to the Cardiff coast and ocean beyond.”

  “Popped in for a cold drink and a single cheeseburger. Service is fast and burger cooked well. Not bad value at £6.69 as it's a decent sized burger. I suspect you'd get better quality meat in the mountain burger, so worth trying that if you're hungry. Otherwise the burger is pretty standard quality meat for this kind of place. As others have said, there's no inside seating so most people eat in their cars in the generous sized car park. You'll get pretty decent views as well. I sat outside on a bench that was a bit sheltered from the cold wind and it was fine - just wrap up warm.”
