Customer Review Summary
Duck draws the most praise, from roast duck in orange sauce described as cooked to perfection to duck and pancakes called excellent on takeaway. Close behind, diners single out the Singapore vermicelli and Singapore rice, along with crispy beef, salt and pepper chicken, chicken mushroom soup, spring rolls and chicken wings. Portions are described as generous and good for sharing, though one reviewer found the king prawn curry small. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, and food arrives quickly. Complaints centre on flavour: one finds dishes a tad salty, another says Kung Po chicken was only spicy with no sweetness and Szechuan beef was mainly salty, a third says the chicken in Szechuan was not breaded and tasted microwaved, and another that the special curry tasted closer to a butter dish. Food didn't hold heat for one table, and takeaway chips arrived soggy. One diner felt rushed with the kitchen closing and found menu names lacking descriptions. Fillet steak in black bean sauce reaches the table on a sizzling griddle.

“The food here was super tasty! Although the prices were relatively high, the flavours were worth it. Food came quick and staff were friendly. However, the king prawn curry portion was quite small but that’s my opinion. Would recommend trying out .”

“ordered for takeaway service over the phone was efficient and attentive. Duck and pancakes was excellent as was the crispy beef, salt and pepper chicken and singapore rice. However chips were soggy but likely due to 15 minutes of travel. Only disappointment was the chicken in szechuan which was not breaded and looked and tasted as if it had been microwaved. Overall vast majority of tood was very good and while picking up interior looked excellent so dining in would be lovely.”

“Fu’s is a well placed restaurant on the Marina. It has a large seating area and a good selection of table sizes to cater for couples or groups. The food was generally good, although it didn’t hold heat well, the special curry was different and tasted closer to a butter dish rather than a traditional Chinese curry. Service was good and we had lots of staff offering help throughout the evening. Prices are fair and they also offer fixed menu options which seemed very reasonable. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.”

“I was recommended this Cantonese restaurant only very recently. On a Monday evening at 5 o’clock I had an early dinner date here. We were the first guests to arrive. I really liked the decor, ambience and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The terracotta soldiers, horse and Chinese characters set the theme. Its contemporary modern fusion is the perfect decor to showcase Cantonese food. My date and I were seated in the middle of the restaurant and we ordered promptly. We didn’t take long to look at the chefs specialities. We ordered crispy seaweed, young chow fried rice, roast duck in orange sauce, fillet steak in black bean sauce with black pepper and onions and soft noodles in beansprouts. No meal would be complete without mandatory prawn crackers. We ordered soft drinks and the meal was served in under 15 minutes. The fillet steak was served on a sizzling hot griddle. The duck was cooked to perfection and the rice, noodles and seaweed also were flavourful, wholesome portions and served at the correct temperature. Overall we were pleased with the food, service and ambiance. Highly recommended.”
