About The Ram Inn, Cliviger
Under new ownership, The Ram Inn is a British pub on Burnley Road in Cliviger, set just outside Burnley with seating inside and out. The kitchen leans into traditional pub food, with Sunday roast options such as beef and gammon, alongside curry, Caesar salad, and a cheese and onion pie, and sticky toffee pudding on the dessert list. Cider is poured at the bar, including a cherries and berries variety. Dogs are welcome both in the indoor space and the outside area, making it a stop that suits those walking in from the surrounding lanes. The setting keeps the character of a roadside local, with a straightforward menu of familiar plates and a bar that covers the basics. A casual, sit-down format runs throughout, with the outside seating in use when the weather allows.

“Great food and outside space, dinner time on a Saturday not to busy. Great place for food with the dog after a hike.”

“This is only our 2nd visit, took my 93 year old mum here this time for a Sunday Roast. Initially it did seem a bit more expensive than other places, but that was before the food came! The food was delicious, very well presented and huge portions! So much so, that my mum had left overs for her lunch then next day! Mum had the beef, hubby had the gammon and I had the most delicious cheese and onion pie! Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert, not that we needed any! Bill included a round of drinks! So very reasonable! Great service, attentive and with a smile! Will be back for more! And the dog came with us!”

“Called in after visiting Townley Park, to have a drink and possibly some food. Read recent reviews after pub has new owners, cherries and berries cider, not something I usually drink was about the only highlight of the visit, very refreshing. Food choice not great, and quite expensive for what was available, restaurant not busy , more Customers outside due to the good weather, very dissappointing, visited many years ago food snd service was excellent, perhaps new owners need to review their menus, give it a miss”

“Our first visit to the ram in a long time. Have to say I was really impressed, the staff are friendly, service was great and the food was delicious. This will definitely not be our last visit. Keep up the great work guys !”

“Was hoping for a "pink" beef with my Sun dinner but it was overdone & very thin slices, didn't get the roast potatoes whilst the rest of my Party got some, was so looking forward to my beef so feel a bit let down. 🥺😇”
