  “Came here for my Nan’s birthday. Our server, Geo, was extremely helpful and brought out the birthday cake that we had brought with candles on so we could all sing happy birthday. The food was nice and the atmosphere was lovely!”

  “There were four of us dining, we had a lovely few hours in comfort and with lovely food and drink. We at no time felt at all rushed, which was much appreciated. Also, the excellent service and cheerfulness from our waitress Karen, made for an excellent experience. Thank you Karen and Toby Carvery.”

  “Our server Caroline was incredibly helpful with my gluten allergy and made it very clear what I could and couldn’t have. She sat with me and and took the time to go through the app and checked in on me half way through the meal. 10/10 service and a lovely roast as always”

  “Very busy Sunday evening but we were seated within 10 mins of our booking time. Our waitress Kristen was very attentive and ensured our pigs in blankets came when we sat down from getting our carvery. Kids eating for £1 for half term also which is a great offer.”

  “Amazing service from Caroline such a lovely and warm woman which is rare! Food was good and fresh as always and service in general was fast even though we were late for our booking. Caroline recommended the Sum Berry Sundae even after us being apprehensive due to the great roast 😂 it didn’t disappoint!!”

She was absolutely amazing — so friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and made the experience even more enjoyable.”

  “We were served by Karen on the 6th June . She was very patient with us as we haven’t been to Toby carvery very much and we both have dietary needs. My mum is coeliac and I am allergic to dairy. We had a look on the iPad and filtered out what we needed. Karen explained everything to us and was very good. The food was delicious, my mum’s beef was a bit too fatty for her liking though. Mum was amazed at how much of the carvery she could eat. We were staying at the Premier Inn next door, so we were worried that we would get ill. Sometimes that happens. We were both fine, no problems whatsoever. We’d recommend to others with dietary needs like us to eat here.”

  “Caroline at Toby Carvery was absolutely lovely and so helpful during our visit. She took the time to help us with the app to get our rewards and discounts and made sure everything was sorted for us. Really friendly, patient, and gave great customer service. It made the whole experience so nice thank you, Caroline!”
