About The Vault, Brigg
The Vault is a free-pouring cocktail bar on Market Place in Brigg, and its brunch format centres on bottomless brunch, including a drag bottomless brunch and a non-alcoholic bottomless option. The extensive cocktail menu sits alongside draft beers, Guinness, zero alcohol drinks, coffee and tea. Breakfast comes with homemade pancakes, and a lunch menu runs through the week. On Sundays, a dinner sharing board brings meats, seasonal veg and cauliflower cheese to the table. Waiting staff take orders at the table, and the kitchen cooks food fresh to order. Plenty of tables suit larger groups and work meetings, and groups pre-order their food. The bar is open Wednesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Customer Review Summary
Bottomless brunch draws the most praise. Reviewers describe a drag brunch with great music, real cocktails that taste great and drinks that kept flowing, plus a non-alcoholic version where the bartender's drinks were gorgeous. Breakfast comes close behind, with lovely scrambled eggs, homemade pancakes and a malteaser chocolate brownie the kitchen happily made on request. One diner calls the Sunday dinner sharing board exceptional, with cauliflower cheese, roasties and Yorkshire puds, and a midweek lunch is described as reasonable. Service is frequently called fab, polite and attentive. The recurring complaint is large groups. Two reviewers say half a table finished eating before the rest were served. One adds that a pre-ordered party's mains arrived very late with only two people in the kitchen, along with overcooked cabbage, salty gravy and no vanilla or chocolate ice cream left. The other reports a rude manager and several cocktails sent back for tasting like pure soda water. One breakfast diner found a poached egg yolk overcooked and dry. For a busy two-year-old, staff made a warm babychino-style milk.

“Food was lovely however half of the table finished before the other half got theirs. Service was rubbish, rude manager that definitely should not be in a customer service role. Drinks were ok however several were sent back due to tasting like pure soda water. Felt very pushed to the side. If you are a big group then I would avoid this place!”

“The food was fine, the service was not. The hen party also there made the place deafening. In a party of 20 that pre-ordered food, it took more than 45 minutes, from start to finish, for them to bring out main coures. Even eating slowly, most of the group had finished eating before I had even received my food. Most of the food was fine. The cabbage was overcooked and the gravy was too salty, though. They also ran out of vanilla ice cream & chocolate ice cream for the desserts, another disappointment. We were informed there were only 2 people in the kitchen, and cooking fresh to order. So I've no idea why we had to preorder. Also no idea why only 2 people were staffing the kitchen on a Sunday lunch time. Categorically, not worth the hassle for large groups. Go to literally any pub with a carvery; the food will be every bit as good, without the ridiculous wait.”

“What a fantastic place and amazing staff from front of house to kitchen. We went there after doing the parkrun so first time ever in brigg. The menu was fab and my 3 friends all had breakfast like you would at 10.30 on a Saturday morning but I really fancied the malteaser chocolate brownie. Which the chef had no problem doing and the waitress had no problem going to ask for me. The rest of my group found this request very funny. The brownie was the best id ever had and the others food was very nice too. Cant wait to go back and visit this amazing little place again”

“We had a bottomless brunch last night and it was the best one we've had. Real cocktails that taste great, fast service, super friendly team, thanks to Neve for welcoming us and keeping us topped up! I didn't catch the barmans name (sorry), but thank you for the great cocktails!”
