Customer Review Summary
Friendly staff are the most frequent praise, and reviewers pair them with the paninis, called outstanding, and a hot chocolate one diner ranked among the best they had had in a while. Breakfast options also draw approval, including gluten free choices and helpful handling of a group of eight. The conservatory and courtyard are dog friendly, and the play area and petting farm with donkeys, goats, sheep and pigs come up with families. The farm shop is described as small, and one reviewer notes it had no fresh fruit or veg beyond mushrooms and tomatoes. Breakfast is the main complaint. One reviewer found soggy toast, a cheap sausage and tinned tomatoes, while another was served a small plate with one sausage and dry poached eggs on dry toast, and was told poached eggs could not replace the fried ones. A bacon sandwich was called stringy, and one diner felt unacknowledged on arrival. One group booked a baby shower there and called the set up fabulous.

“Excellent friendly staff, but a very average breakfast and coffee. Soggy toast, cheap sausage, tinned tomatoes. More greasy spoon than farm shop quality. A shame.”

“Fantastic baby shower today at Marton Manor Farm Shop and tea room. Individual venue and fabulous set up. Clean and cool, on another scorcher of a summer day. I would highly recommend for any special event.”

“Great food options in the tea rooms, dog friendly in the conservatory and courtyard. Good childrens play area. Lots of lovely food and gifts available, but not a farm shop as we know them as there was no fresh fruit or veg to buy other than mushrooms and tomatoes”

“We went for breakfast and were very underwhelmed and disappointed. Not friendly or welcoming. Customer service was poor not acknowledged at all when we walked through the door even though we were one of the first in and it's not clear if you get seated or find it yourself. There is only 2 breakfast options, a breakfast or poached eggs on toast. Never seen a breakfast menu so small. The breakfast is set and comes with only fried eggs, we asked for poached eggs instead of fried to which they said no it comes only with fried. When it came it was a small breakfast, only comes with 1 sausage. It was not filling enough. The poached eggs were very underwhelming and dry. Egg on dry toast, bread wasn't anything special, would have been best of making breakfast at home. When our drinks were bought to us they were brought out on the waitress tray which was just put on our table, drinks weren't even taken off the tray. Food was poor and customer service not great. Won't be returning.”

“A good find. Lovely food, friendly staff and very clean. I didn't have time to explore the farm shop.”
