Customer Review Summary

Diners most often praise the Sunday roast for its fresh vegetables, creamy mash, and ample portions, with several singling out the quality of the breakfast sausages and thick bacon as standouts. The cafe’s friendly, helpful staff and clean, smart interior also earn frequent mention, and one group noted being offered free drinks during a short-staffed delay. Close behind are the generous portion sizes and the overall value. A recurring complaint centers on delivery and temperature issues, with cold fried eggs, soggy fried bread, and long waits cited, while one diner described receiving mainly fat on the bacon and rock-hard fried slice. Another reviewer highlights the belly buster breakfast challenge as a notable offering.

Friendly helpful and polite delivery driver. The Sunday roast was fresh veg (not frozen) creamy mash and lovely sliced beef. Ample size. For a takeaway roast dinner exceeded my expectations.

Took over an hour to be delivered which would not have been a problem if the food had been hot. Fried egg was that cold it could have just come out of my fridge. Fried bread was soggy and the egg had been cooked in the same fat as the …

Great little pit stop in Aberkenfig, Bridgend. Formerly known as Notty's Cafe. Haven't long been taken over by new owners, same menu and same staff. …

Very good breakfast! Proper good quality breakfast sausages, nice thick bacon was very very good and cooked to perfection! Everything else was also very enjoyable and hot... will definitely have again.

I waited an hour and half for my order.. hashbrowns were soggy and flappy and cold. The bacon was mainly fat. The scrambled egg was cold and the fried slice was the end piece which I'm sure no one eats and was rock hard. Binned the whole lot. 👍 £13. Never again …

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
