  “Big thank you to the guy front of house on Friday morning! We arrived at 1105. 5 minutes after breakfast had finished and 25 minutes before lunch started. But we were able to get served even though they were obviously in the middle setting up for lunch, and even put the pot of coffee on our table to save me getting up. Was especially good as we had a very long drive ahead of us. Many thanks once again!”

  “Me,my wife and my family went to the carvery in Brentwood we couldn't get parked so we had to park next to the town hall an inconvenience as my dad has very limited mobility. Once we got seated the initial server kept rolling her eyes as we were placing the drinks orders. She brought over the refillable glasses but clearly couldn't count as we were 2 short how she got a job here I will never know. The food was average at best ,luke warm and no flavour to it .Once dinner was eaten some of us had desserts mine was pretty much thrown at me its safe to say we will not be returning to this particular toby carvery. If I can give one bit of advice to this branch it is don't overbook as you clearly cannot handle it .”

  “It was really busy, drink not replaced in thr machine as one of the kids did not want fizzy drink for the whole duration we were there. However our waiter Angela was really sweet and helpful. Food was good”

  “I was served by Chloe and she was so lovely and friendly and I had such a brilliant experience! Martin was also lovely at the carvery buffet. Amazing and quick service and Sarah is an absolutely fantastic manager! She is attentive, kind and extremely helpful and she really made our experience the best! Thank you Sarah!”

  “Easy parking, great service, ideal for wheelchairs, great Sunday roast and desserts. Two deserts, one Dairy ice cream and one Vegan, lovely. I can't recommend whether the Vegan ice cream is always available, best to phone and check. No. Pics. of the roast as nothing left on the plates, all eaten. Good value for money. Will be going back. The restaurant was packed out. Would highly recommend.”

  “It was my first time coming here and i absolutely enjoyed the food very hot and fresh. Our server Angela was so lovely, always smiling and very kind. She made our experience so lovely! Can’t wait to come back!”

  “We visited this afternoon for a roast,and boy are we glad we did. We were very pleased with the the fact that they had not just your usual carrots,peas, cauliflower cheese, etc ,this carvery had ' parsnips, which we never get at any other carvery. And the roast potatoes were absolutely divine,and the meat the chef sliced for us ,was as tasty as it looked,and plentiful. We will definitely be visiting again , 👍😊”

  “Visited on: Friday, 5/12/2025 Why was this review 5 stars? 👇 FOOD - It’s a buffet, you can choose a variety of food such as vegetables, roast potatoes and of course, their infamous Yorkshire’s. You can have as much as you want (within reason of course - don’t be too greedy). Meat choices include, gammon, slow-roasted pork, honey glazed turkey. I personally would recommend the gammon because it is just perfect, there’s not that much fat attached to the meat itself. For my desert, I had a cookie dough brownie with accompanying whipped cream and a couple of strawberries which was ever so glorious. I too, also recommend this desert if you are not filled up from the main course. SERVICE - Excellent customer service - made us feel very welcome, and often came to the tables to see how we were, (like at least 4-5 times during our dine). They were respectful and very kind at all times. ATMOSPHERE - We had a private room, away from the main section which was very nice. 👍 ~ I recommend visiting this Toby.”
