About Seoul bites
Seoul Bites is a Korean restaurant on West Cliff Road in Bournemouth, where orders go through a kiosk with photos of each dish. The food is prepared by a Korean chef in a kitchen screened off by a curtain, and plates are handed over at the counter. The menu covers Korean fried chicken, bibimbap and soy garlic chicken, with kimbap and ramen alongside. Meals come in disposable trays with chopsticks and wooden forks and spoons. Seating for dining in is simple and minimal. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the authentic Korean food, with several saying it tastes just as it does in Korea and that a Korean chef prepares it. Named favourites include the soy garlic chicken, chicken wings, bibimbap, ramyeon, bossam, kimchi fried rice and chicken yakitori skewers, plus sweet potato croquette and chicken katsu udon soup. Close behind is the owner, described as friendly and welcoming, who checked that the food suited diners' tastes, along with quick service from a photo-based screen order system. The main caveat comes from comparisons with the previous restaurant. One reviewer says the superb Korean flavours were missing, and another describes ordering on a fixed tablet with a large curtain hiding the kitchen, so there is no contact with the cooks. One finds the minimal interior close to a doctor's waiting room, and one calls it a bit pricier. Takeaway earns repeated mentions, with one reviewer eating theirs on the beach.

“Amazing food and good portion size. I ordered sweet potato croquette and udon noodle soup - chicken katsu. Quick service and reasonably priced. Had a good conversation with the friendly owner, he was approachable and helpful. All the best in this location.”

“This place is absolutely perfect if you're looking for authentic Korean food. The restaurant originally operated in Richmond, London before relocating here, and the quality has clearly carried over. The food is prepared by a Korean chef and served exactly the way it would be back in Korea — everything feels genuine. There's a kiosk to order from with photos, which makes it easy even if you're not familiar with the menu. I had the bibimbap, ramyeon, and bossam — all were outstanding. If you're into Korean or Asian cuisine, this is a must-visit. Dine-in and takeaway are both available.”

“The food was absolutely delicious. Chicken wings are banging. Would highly recommend the chicken wings. And the owner is really friendly good and quick service.”

“First time ordering food since being taken over from the previous Korean restaurant. Although delicious and still excellent value, it was missing the superb Korean flavours of the previous restaurant. It is also missing the personal touch and there is no interaction with the staff or chefs cooking the food. You order and pay for your meal on a fixed tablet and there is a large curtain screening off the kitchen area, you see no one other than when the food is handed over to you. It’s just missing the personal touch and atmosphere. Having said all this, as I said the food is still delicious and I will be returning.”
