  “Came in a couple of weeks ago, with my partner. Food was brilliant. The service was impeccable. Matt was friendly, and answered the 50,000 questions I had. It was the best service in a restaurant, for a long time. Will definitely return again soon!”

  “Exemplary Review for Spirit of Endeavour Saffron & Alicia We visited Spirit of Endeavour for a last‑minute anniversary meal, and thanks to Saffron and Alicia, it turned into a truly special evening. From the moment we arrived, both ladies delivered service that was not only warm and attentive, but genuinely exceptional. Having previously worked in a Michelin‑level restaurant, I have high expectations when it comes to service and these two absolutely exceeded them. Their professionalism, timing, presentation, and ability to make us feel valued throughout the night were on par with upper‑class dining standards. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was delivered with a smile, and they made our anniversary feel personal and memorable.The food was lovely, but it was the outstanding service from Saffron and Alicia that made the night unforgettable. They are a credit to the Spirit of Endeavour team, and we will absolutely return because of them.”

  “The food was hot and good value for money. I very much enjoyed the chicken katsu dish. The staff were lovely and helpful whenever they came to our table (particularly Alicia, Agneta and Adam) . I would definitely come here again.”

  “Wow wow wow. The manager/owner should be proud of the staff and service. Some carvery!!! The meat was delicious! Even the kids meal from the menu was great thank you. The nicest staff!!! Will definitely be returning even tho it's a bit of a trek for us. Best prices I have seen in a restaurant ever!”

  “The service was excellent. Friendly and attentive staff throughout our visit. We booked a table for 9, for early on a Saturday evening. Advised it was for a birthday and arrived to a table with birthday decorations. Booked easily on line. The meals were as described on the menu, served hot and good size portions and tasted good and served in a timely manner. The restaurant was clean and tidy as were the toilets. We have not visited the Spirit of Endeavour for many years but will definitely be returning again soon. Thank you all for a lovely and pleasant evening.”

  “A wonderful pub with lovely and helpful staff. We were a big group and they accomodated us amazingly, we pre ordered and all food came out together and all correct. We were able to pay in 2 seperate transactions. Food was tasty. Shout out to Agneta and Courts for sorting the birthday cake for us and providing candles which i forgot to bring (oops). Overall a lovely place for reasonably priced quality food. Thanks again!”
