  “Wow! What an amazing little find. The food here was so fresh! Zinging with flavour, every dish we tried complimented by the exact amount of seasoning and spice. So good to find somewhere that also offers a good quality alcohol free beer which I find rare in some restaurants. The Oysters were so good, soft, delicate with a gentle sweetness and suggestion of fresh sea. The mackerel was seared perfectly and the Thai sauce that it was served with made it sing. The crispy butter beans were to die for and I shall be trying to reproduce that recipe at home. Well done Rocket crew, you were exceptional.”

  “We have been visiting Cornwall for several years now, and this has become one of our favourite restaurants. During our visit in July 2026, we enjoyed one of the best seafood meals we’ve had in Cornwall. Every dish was outstanding, from the scallops and prawns to the grilled sardines, the cucumber salad and the beautifully prepared lobster. The quality of the seafood was exceptional, everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the cooking was confident yet restrained, allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves. The service was equally impressive: warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed and authentic, making it the perfect place to enjoy a long lunch with excellent food and wine. After several years of returning to Cornwall, it takes something special to stand out, and this restaurant certainly does. Outstanding ingredients, honest cooking, generous portions and genuine hospitality. We left already looking forward to coming back on our next visit. Highly recommended.”

  “Enjoyed the slightly quirky historical building. Really liked the rather different dining experience with some great menu options. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious- wonderful combination of flavours and textures. The staff were perfectly lovely, so helpful and clearly understood the menu - just go with their advice, they know what they're talking about! Would we go again? Can't wait for next opportunity!”

  “Great atmosphere.We sat inside so had a good view of the chefs at work.A fascinating experience,the whole team were perfectly in sync. Very expensive on the whole, fish was beautifully cooked, garnish of cucumber was bland and didn’t enhance the dish. My scallops were delicious, sardines were beautifully cooked. The jury is out on the butter beans. We recommend the Jura Cremont,”

  “Such a special little restaurant tucked away in the heart of Boscastle. The choice of food was wrote out on boards from starters, main courses and desserts in which the staff are only too pleased to explain. The food we had was simply sublime, we had the most amazing food along with beautiful service we can’t wait to go back. Thank you to everyone xx”

  “This is our favourite restaurant in Cornwall. Every time we are here the service and food is excellent. We are outside undercover with our dog. The food is simply excellent from the scallops and oysters to the chickpeas and lamb. The vegetarian options are always excellent as well as the fish and meat. We will continue to come back and enjoy. Make sure you book a table as they’re busy! We also make sure we order as much as we can and will survive on only this meal for the day! You don’t need to spend as much as we did but we always enjoy a good bottle of wine and fill up on all the awesome dishes!”
