  “Got chips and gravy in a tray which wasn't to bad but then I took a bite of my meat and potato pie and it tasted of and smelt rank. This pie was clearly reheated many of times before being sold to myself. If I had tried eating it with my other food it would of all been thrown in the bin together. Won't go there again as this is the 2nd pie to taste like this”

  “We’ve just had a Chinese Takeaway from the A1 chippy.. I’ve got to say we were pleasantly surprised we had salt and pepper spare ribs. They were very good also spring rolls they were also good. My husband had a special Curry. He really enjoyed it. I had King prawns in black bean sauce all in all it was very good for an impromptu takeaway.”

  “Just been for food boiled rice and chips were fine but got salt and pepper chips and you cannot cut into the batter as it's rock hard and the chicken inside was hard none of it was edible. Waste of money!”

  “Ordered chicken chow main, Szechuan crispy beef, beef in green pepper in black bean sauce chicken fried rice, egg fried rice, the meat was awful way to much corn starch which can only be described as slime covered food I almost wrench first bite! Immediately went in the the bin. Sorry A1 I’m a local lad and frequent your chippy from time to time but the food l ordered recently was horrendous.”

  “Just got kind prawn omelette and salt n pepper chips from A1 Chinese. To be honest the omelette wasn’t that bad but why would anyone use yesterday’s chips. Did they honestly believe that by making salt n pepper chips that we would not notice. They were absolutely disgusting. Never again it’s 1 out of ten from me.”

  “Very poor , sweet and sour chicken has always included a small chips in the price I’ve been going for nearly 5 years. Went in today to be told they are a extra £1 and said they always have been (so basically accusing me of lying). So I walked out. It’s not the price that’s the issue it’s the fact I would rather go somewhere else not be called a lier. You have lost a loyal customer well done.”
