  “We love this pub , lovely cosy atmosphere in a beautiful setting . Gemma is always very welcoming, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Jai is a wonderful cook , everything is locally sourced, fresh and seasonal. We are so lucky to have this gem of a pub nearby. They regularly hold theme nights, quiz nights and barbecues.   “What a Find! At last a wonderful place to have a delicious meal, where you can feel the love poured into the dishes and decor. I had a fabulous meal with my partner. I could taste the authentic local produce- wild Boar terrine, moist and flavorsome. Piri Piri chicken and an incredible turkey Balantine with trimmings. Delightful dedicated team. Plus a shout out for Gemma's Blueberry Frangipan - A slice of heaven, with what tasted like local cream. The Pastry was exceptional.”

  “Lovely atmosphere with a real sense of history and presence opening the weighty door, welcomed by a cosy fire, and feeling like being safe in someone’s home. Echo all of what Georgina said in her review + I loved all the thoughtful details in the food, and had to hold back on making noises of appreciation in avoidance of making a scene!”

  “What a wonderful pub in North Dorset, Ibberton. Great selection of beer, wine and spirits and the food is absolutely delicious with the roast beef on Sunday especially so. I loved my face shaped Yorkshire pudding, made me smile. As most pubs are in the area dog friendly for well behaved dogs. Indoor and outdoor seating and wheelchair accessible. We visited twice during our short stay and we were glad we did.”

  “Stopped here for drinks as a group of 10 on a Saturday and really enjoyed our visit. Owner is lovely and there was a fire lit inside however it was sunny so we enjoyed the beer garden. Would recommend and hopefully be back in the area soon to visit again.”

  “Great pub with a lovely cosy atmosphere, especially by the fire. The food was fantastic – I had the Pork Belly & Scallops for £18, and it was absolutely incredible! Service was good. Overall, a great experience!”
