Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often return to the three-course meal, praising the food as delicious and beautifully presented. Diners name calamari, chicken Milanese, Moroccan lamb, fillet steak and cod, while the lemon tart and almond bakewell tart come up among the desserts. One vegetarian describes clearing a plate of the vegetarian option while her husband had the meat carvery. Close behind is the staff, described as friendly, welcoming and never rushing anyone. Several note how accommodating they were to a disabled sister, to special requests, and to a walk-in couple squeezed in on a busy themed night. Reviewers also mention the refurbished room looking stunning and a good atmosphere. The caveats are small. One diner with dietary requirements could eat little from the set menu, and another was shocked by the cost of a single can of soft drink. Several birthday visitors end on the same detail, a free brownie arriving on a happy birthday plate.

“Honestly I never write reviews but I had to for here, I came in on the 2nd of September for a meal and the staff were amazing, even helped me with my special request. 10/10 I’ll be making sure to come back soon, and a special thank you to the blonde waitress 🫶”

“Quite a while since my last visit. The place had been refurbished and looked stunning. Came for my birthday with my partner. The food was delicious. Calamari, mushrooms, chicken Milanese and Moroccan lamb, we could not fault. Unfortunately too full for dessert but I got given a happy birthday plate with a brownie which we shared. We got served by Gabrielle who was polite and courteous and a credit to the company. There were plenty in for a Thursday which made for a good atmosphere”

“came in for my 21st, food was incredible and staff were lovely. gave me a free brownie and the mains/starters got me full but wanting more. had 3 cocktails and they got me buzzed to say the least. not expensive at all, the food really exceeded my expectations so I'd come back again”

“The food was absolutely amazing! We were served by Tina, who couldn't do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. We arrived hoping for a romantic evening meal without having booked a table. Even though it was an Italian-themed night and they were busy, they still managed to squeeze us in. I would highly recommend this place for both the fantastic food and the excellent service. We'll definitely be returning”

Yet again I highly recommend this place the food is delicious”
