  “We’re so lucky to have such a great restaurant in Bishop’s Stortford! We’ve been coming to Skew for over 6 years and have celebrated birthdays here too. The food is always delicious, portions are generous, and the service is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming, and the restaurant is always clean and inviting. We also love sitting on the terrace when the weather is nice. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely keep coming back! ❤️”

  “I visit here regularly with family and friends. Lovely restaurant with great food. Nice atmosphere too. Just dont go if you are in a rush as drinks can take time. Definitely recommend 😋”

  “Fab food and service. Everyone was so welcoming and professional . The occasion was for a specials coupl anniversary treat. Second visit and a true gem of a find. Outside dining was atmospheric- we will be returning for a family reunion next month! Highly recommend! Thank you!!!”

  “Absolutely beautiful food. Service was fantastic very friendly professional. I had the beyti kebab which is delicious and very filling! Great atmosphere 👌 good music and lighting in a great location by the river. First time here cant fault a thing. Will Absolutely visit again.”

  “Had a really great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, well presented, and full of flavor — especially the grilled dishes and mezze, everything tasted fresh and high quality. What really made the difference for us was the service. A special thanks to Angelika, who was absolutely amazing throughout the evening. She was very welcoming, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. Her recommendations were spot on and she added a very personal touch to our dinner. The atmosphere is elegant but still relaxed, perfect for a nice evening out as a couple. Highly recommended — we will definitely come back!”

  “Hi, Thank you so much for a wonderful Christmas Lunch for seventeen ladies from the local Tennis Club. Since October, when I first booked the table, the staff have been attentive to my requirements. On Thursday, our table was beautifully set out with an extra touch of Christmas crackers and a name place with our chosen Menu. The service was excellent as was the food. An extra bonus was that we were able to pay individually, much easier than an individual footing the bill. Our heartfelt thanks to all of you for making our Christmas Lunch so memorable.”

  “An absolutely amazing evening at Skew with friends. Delicious Turkish inspirerad food and great atmosphere. Our lovely waiter Robin recommended some great dishes and wine to match. Could not fault the service. Will be a regular from now on.”

  “Lovely restaurant, super quiet on the Tuesday evening we went. Food was fantastic, service also wonderful, very helpful and offered advice on menu choices (did we need chips with our shishes? nope! helpful to know!). We had hummus, feta pastries, chicken shish and chargrilled vegetables (pictured), all fantastic but particularly recommend the hummus.”

  “Lovely Turkish restaurant by the river, nice ambience, good service. The food was delicious and portion sizes decent. Would especially recommend the slow cooked lamb shank. Overall hard to fault.”
