  “Visited this restaurant today and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely incredible and definitely worth the price. We were lucky enough to get counter seating right by the chefs, which made the experience even better. They were extremely friendly, welcoming, and we had some great conversations with them throughout the meal. The food, service, and overall atmosphere were all fantastic. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a visit — it’s well worth it!”

  “I booked Sushi Passion for my fiancé’s birthday, and they absolutely made the evening so special. The waiters and kitchen team went above and beyond to make the night memorable, and they brought out all of our food on a massive sushi boat! It was such a spectacle and definitely a moment that all of us will remember. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented, and we were even treated to some complimentary extras once we had finished. Honestly, I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you so much to the whole team for making my fiancé’s birthday feel so special. We had such a wonderful evening and will definitely be back!”

  “Such an incredible sushi experience, it felt so authentic! The food was great, slightly pricey but worth it. I really reccomend the platters, we shared this between 3 and we were so full afterwards ! The vibes were truly on point too. I’ve visited twice, and think about retuning (probably daily). Yum!!”

  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had! From the very first bite to the last spoonful of dessert, everything was absolutely perfect. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and genuinely surprising in the best possible way. The sushi with strawberries completely blew my mind — I would never have expected such a combination to work so well, but it was simply phenomenal! The tofu deserves a special mention because it was, without question, the best tofu I have ever eaten anywhere. And the sesame ice cream? Absolutely top-tier. I’m not usually an ice cream lover, yet I couldn’t stop eating it. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. Nothing felt random. Every ingredient, every garnish, every flavor combination had a purpose. Even the cocktail with blended raspberries and delicate dried rose petals on top was a memorable experience on its own. The service was exceptional — genuinely kind, welcoming, and passionate people who made us feel special from the moment we arrived. The restaurant itself has a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful interior design that perfectly complements the food. One of my favorite moments was watching the chef prepare the dishes and seeing how attentively he observed guests’ reactions when the food arrived. You can truly feel the passion, care, and pride behind every plate. This is not just a sushi restaurant — it’s a culinary experience. A place that surprises, delights, and leaves you thinking about the food long after you’ve left. Highly recommended, and I already can’t wait for my next visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

  “A colleague recommended I try Sushi Passion. Really good suggestion imo. Treated myself to lunch here during work after a stressful week and it was definitely a treat. A bit on the pricey side but par for the course in Birmingham. Loved the food. Service was good - polite and courteous staff. I had the special Uramaki - had to carry the rest home by the end of the meal, crispy hosomaki - they ran out of strawberries but it was lush even with mango, scallop Gunkan and the seared beef with shichimi pepper were good too. Miso soup was filled generously. Would recommend a visit.”

  “We were in Birmingham for a half days shopping and thought sushi would be a good idea for a light lunch. Reviews for Sushi Passion looked great and was only a short walk from where we were so gave it a try. It was almost empty which was a bit of a surprise with such good reviews but great to see Asian staff in the kitchen hopefully to provide an authentic meal. The menu was large and we appreciated all the photos to show what we were ordering. Food took quite some time to arrive considering there were only 2 other tables occupied. We had gyoza and prawn tempura to start and both were excellent- good sized prawns. I was slightly disappointed with my spicy Californian rolls - not particularly big but tasted OK. My wife’s dragon roll was a better size so wish I had ordered that. Overall the food was very tasty and so fresh. I know good sushi is expensive but thought £60 for lunch with just one coke between us was more than it was worth.”

  “I love this place so much. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. The place is quite small but it has so much charm and the tables and toilet was spotless. If you’re looking for a chill place to eat away then this is the spot to go to. The food and drinks were perfect!”

  “I took my son for his 14th birthday and what an experience he had sitting at the chefs bar and watching Head chef Kamal along with his chefs Madhu, Pawel and Rom prepare the fantastic food. The staff were fantastic, the food was exceptional and we will definitely be returning, after all the head chef was looking forward to our return. A brilliant atmosphere. We highly recommend you make that visit if you are in Birmingham 💚”

  “Head Chef Kamal, Chef Ram and Chef Madhu were so amazing. The hospitality from them was top tier and the food and drinks were 10/10. Daryl and Annie were so accommodating and they offered samples and options when we were confused. My best first experience to this restaurant. Shoutout to Chef Kamal for his hospitality and introduction to this restaurant.”
