  “NEW OWNERS HAVE TURNED THIS AROUND. GREAT FOOD. It seems the owners have listened to tye feedback and got their act together.i gave been herd 4 times in the last 2 weeks and the food has been top notch everytime. Yes its a little pricey but you get what you pay for....tje best chicken and chips in alum rock by a mile...they are obviously using quality ingredients now... I'd say it's better than what it was back in the day as always used this chippy.”

  “This chippy has clearly been around for a long time and is showing its age, it could really do with a refurb. I was recommended the doner and chips, so that’s what I went for. The food was freshly cooked to order, and the portion size was generous, which was a plus, service can be very slow I skipped the salad as it didn’t look particularly fresh, and I didn’t bother with the sauces either. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you're after freshly cooked chips, but there’s not much else to shout about.”

  “It's such a shame to leave such a negative review after ordering from here. I used to come here all the time as a kid and it was such a treat! The food was fresh and the service was always spot on. Unfortunately, it seems the businesss has gone down hill since. The food was luke warm. And the server seemed quite distance while making the food which led to too much vinegar 😔. Chips were hard but the chicken was good. It seemed quite for a Friday which may be indicative of the drop of food quality.”

  “A realy nice fish and chips shop in Alum Rock. Fresh chips and fresh cod made everyday. they also do curry sauce. Price isn't expensive and the wait time isnt too bad. worth a try (on a cold rainy day :))”
