Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the most praise, with reviewers describing an expanded menu of healthy and less healthy options, big portions, and food cooked fresh in front of them and served piping hot within minutes. Close behind are the friendly, helpful staff and an owner who made one diner feel very welcome. Several call the place clean and tidy and cheaper than most. Reviewers name a decent greasy spoon, a basic but perfectly toasted and tasty sandwich, and a mocha of just the right size, and a scooter club of 14 was easily accommodated for breakfast and lunch. The caveats are specific. One reviewer says the bill came to more than the order, including a charge for a single plum tomato, and it was only reduced after they challenged it, so they will not be returning. Another found the latte ridiculously hot and on the weak side, and one warns of the upsell. Reviewers also note that staff open doors and shift chairs for wheelchair users without being asked.

“Only had a coffee to kill a bit of time. Average town cafe. £2-90 for a Latte so not bad but how do you get liquid to that temperature? Ridiculously hot, had to get some cold milk in it so I could drink it. Was also on the weak side but not the worst I've ever had.”
