  “Don’t bother with starters. We did 3 £14 so I suppose you get what u pay for. They took close to a hour to come out. The jumbo prawns were tiny and there were 4 of them. The sauce was very nice but could have done with some fresh bread to dip instead of 2 anemic looking bits of frozen garlic bread. The “chicken strips” were a breaded bit of chicken that’s mashed into a shape and sliced. Like a cheap nugget. The mushrooms were 3 mushrooms covered in melted cheese. No seasoning. My ribeye steak & the Diane sauce were average. My husband had the tomahawk which he enjoyed. The decor is dated & tacky. The menus are sticky and don’t give much information on the food. The restaurant & toilets aren’t very clean. It just feels a bit dingy. The staff are polite but just seem to stand in a group by the bar waiting for the chef to press their bell.”

  “Excellent steak! An unusual touch was serving asparagus along with the other sides. The most delicious warm chocolate brownies with ice cream and artistic chocolate drizzle! An lovely staff too 😊 Thank you, Deluxe Bideford.”

  “We came to this restaurant when we were on holiday and had such a lovely meal. The staff were fantastic and the food was incredible. We had a rib eye and sirloin, as well as halloumi fries and calamari and both my husband and I were so impressed with how good all the food was. Will 100% be returning when we are next on holiday in the area.”

  “We travelled up to Bideford last month to visit our children and spotted this lovely restaurant, so we made sure to try it out on this visit – and we’re so glad we did! From start to finish the experience was fantastic. Amelia and all the staff were absolutely amazing – so warm, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive at all. We ordered the steak board and it was simply outstanding. Every element was cooked to absolute perfection, with rich, exceptional flavours throughout, and prepared exactly how we asked for it. It’s easily one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re visiting Bideford – highly recommended to anyone looking for top quality food and great service!”

  “Pretty quiet, but we were out-of-season, late on a Thursday night. Service was attentive, without hovering over us. The food was excellent; steaks were cooked exactly right, and the chicken shish was about the best I've ever eaten. Unfortunately, some of our first choices were not available, but that didn't spoil our overall enjoyment.”

  “Genuinely the best steak I have ever had. We are beef farmers so we know a thing or two about steak and this was absolutely out of this world. Cooked to absolute perfection the ribeye was so tender there was no need to chew. Will 100% be back. Cannot rate this highly Enough. Thank you.”

  “Phenomenal!! I highly recommend coming here for a dinner! It’s a must! The food was cooked perfectly! The cocktail was by far the best I’ve had in a long long time!! All the staff were very friendly! Amelia served us and she was so lovely :) Thankyou!!”

  “We visited for Bottomless Brunch - which is available Fridays and Saturdays - amazing value - £40 for two hours of unlimited cocktails, great choice of cocktails, plus food (lots of food!) - the venue is amazing, service was outstanding, the food was delicious (chicken, potato salad, kisir and 2 sides) and the cocktails were fantastic! Can’t wait to come again ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️”

  “My husband & I went for a meal here this evening & it was absolutely delicious. The steak was so good, it was like butter melting in your mouth- well worth every penny. The atmosphere & cleanliness was also great. The staff were very polite & professional, they even helped pick out dishes when we asked was they liked a lot & told us what was in each dish. Highly recommend anyone to check this new restaurant out. I felt like a princess even the table decor was beautiful. Thankyou (especially to our waitress who was absolutely brilliant & you could tell she took pride in her job) we will be back soon. Slade table reserved at 6.45 tonight 21/06/24 Xx”
