“No wonder there is no queue. They don’t take card. The burgers taste like the cheapest frozen patties. Zero texture. You don’t even get the standard lattuce and tomatoes. If you pay for mushrooms topping it’s cold mushrooms from the tin still wet. “Pickles” is one slice of a cucumber. Overall super overpriced and disappointing. Fries were somehow both too greasy and too dry. Actually kinda impressive.”

“Our first bacon bap! Great bun and very generous with the bacon. But nothing we would eat in a restaurant at home would have that much salt.”

“A bacon and egg soda done exactly right in about ten minutes! Delicious find, and the gentleman running it is a marvel to behold first thing in the morning, doing it all himself! Well done sir.”

Customer Review Summary

Burgers are the main draw at this St. George's Market stall, with reviewers praising a very big, juicy patty, crispy bacon and cheese, and a pulled pork burger with a ridiculous portion. Close behind is breakfast, where a bacon and egg soda and a bacon bap get credit for a great bun and generous bacon, though one reviewer found the bap saltier than expected. Several single out the friendly, patient staff, including Spanish-speaking servers who made fellow Spaniards feel close to home, and one regular says the team already knows their order. Live music beside the stall also gets a mention. One dissenting reviewer found the burgers like cheap frozen patties with zero texture, no lettuce or tomato, a single cucumber slice for pickles, cold tinned mushrooms as a paid topping, and fries both too greasy and too dry. That reviewer also objected to the stall not taking cards and called it overpriced. Most close on a simple note: a big burger handed over by a server who remembers the usual order.
