Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the full English breakfast, with one calling it excellent and another describing a takeaway breakfast with perfect poached eggs and portions too large to finish. Close behind are the pizzas, with praise for fresh dough, a tomato base that recalled home cooking, and generously topped bbq meatfeast and 50/50 pepperoni and cheese and tomato pizzas that a family loved. Reviewers also describe a welcoming atmosphere, lovely staff, and reasonable pricing, and several mention the cafe's community work, including help for single parents and posters in the bathroom on where to get help. Local contractors are noted as regulars for breakfast and lunch. The negatives are specific. One diner called their fry up the worst they had eaten, citing bacon needing a steak knife, thin bread, hard crispy eggs, sweet ketchup, and a smell of dirty frying fat. Another found a caramel flat white tasted like instant coffee with no caramel. One visitor closed on a personal note, thanking a staff member for taking their children's toys to pass on to the community.

“Stopped by here with my partner as part of our journey. The cafe was closed but they still served pizza. Pizza was great, loved the dough, proper fresh! The tomato base reminded me of my aunties cooking back home, nostalgia in every bite. Oz is a great man. Spoke with him and loved hearing all the things him and his brother do for the community, very inspirational. It hit close to home when he said they help single parents, one of the hardest jobs is being a parent and doing it alone makes it even more challenging, so to hear they help single parents really made me smile. Oh and the bathroom, it was so nice to see the sanitary products, baby changing unit, posters on all kind of topics and where to get help (eg. Escaping from DV). This is the kind of thing humans were meant to do, look out for each other. Keep up the good work and maybe see you in the future 😀”

“Absolutely amazing experience at Mother’s Kitchen! The food was outstanding – full of flavour, fresh, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was spot on. The drinks were just as good, with a great selection to choose from. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it such a lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal. Everything was spotless, and you can really tell they take pride in cleanliness. There’s also a great variety of food on the menu, so there’s something for everyone. Honestly, everything was a 10/10 – highly recommend and will definitely be coming back! ⭐️✨”
