  “I recently called in to the Tiffin to try the lunchtime menu, I opted for the chicken tikka naanwich. My order was taken promptly and my meal arrived shortly afterwards, served piping hot. It was a generous portion on a well cooked naan, I thoroughly enjoyed it and for £9.99 thought it was great value for money. I can highly recommend the Tiffin if you are ever visiting Barnstaple..”

  “The quality and taste of the food was really good apart from the samosas which were more like dumplings. However we were upstairs with 2 other tables so the atmosphere was limited. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains. One starter arrived and 7 minutes later I had to ask for the other starter, shortly after getting the starter the waitress arrived with our mains!! One of the other tables I noticed also got their mains before finishing their starters. Within 50 minutes the whole experience of an expected couple of hours of eating was over.”

  “Had a lovely dinner at Tiffin last night where chicken tikka karahi stole the show. The goan fish curry was very good too along with chicken thighs and butterfly king prawns. When we're in the area next we'll definitely come back for the great flavours.”

  “I tried to book to eat. No one answered the phone or responded to my email. When we eventually ‘walked in’, there was no space. We understood but did not appreciate the way in which we were spoken to. The whole thing felt rather hostile toward potential customers. It was a shame as I was aware of the positive reviews about the food.”
