Customer Review Summary
Singapore fried rice with char siu pork draws the strongest praise, with one reviewer calling it the best Chinese food they have ever had. Others describe the meals as nice all round or delicious, including one dish made off menu. Cooking is the main complaint, though. Prawn toasts came almost black and tasted burnt, prawn crackers were overcooked, and lemon chicken was gluey and rubbery. Crispy shredded beef and Singapore chow mien disappointed, and one order arrived soggy. Service splits sharply. Several call the staff lovely, polite, friendly and efficient, while others describe the woman on the phone as rude, a counter wait that ran well past the promised time, and a door slammed on customers. One long-standing customer was given beef instead of chicken curry. The replacement came back as curry only with no fresh rice, and the dispute ended in a refund that did not cover the dish.

“I arrived expecting my food to be imminent as the woman on the phone said 35 minutes much to my annoyance I was told the food was nearly ready then I had to wait a following 25 minutes I’m the waiting area on a crusty chair the woman on the counter informed me it would be 2 minutes but it was 10 I became inpatient and said I was leaving because I’d had enough then miraculously, the food was ready when I got the food it was soggy and below par I would not come again I have been left underwhelmed”

“Food was nice all round, however halfway through eating and feeling something sharp, found that I'd chewed down on quite a long piece of metal. Luckily didn't chew fully down as this was sharp at both ends and could have been far worse. Won't be returning.”

“Woman answering the phone has no manners and is pure rude. Food was nice though.”

“Wow...... 1st thing you see is the worst looking fish tank in the world on the counter... Poor things.... And next to that was a sporty ginger bird who obviously hates her job... Mind you I don't blame her working here..... Cash only as the tax man won't know....... Didn't order food as it looks shocking.... And her attitude matched it...... Avoid..... Really I mean it.... Slamming the door on customers is a joke........ Just like your service standards.......”

“Called in and ordered mixed starter for 2 and lemon chicken with fried rice. Got free prawn crackers. Positives first - service was excellent, staff lovely and food came quick. Starters were OK, more spare than meat on the ribs but OK. Just. Rice was nice. Negatives - prawn crackers were overcooked. "Chicken" horrible, like chewing... I don't know how to describe it, gluey, mushy, rubbery. Just bad 👎”
