Customer Review Summary

Coffee is the draw reviewers raise most, described as fresh, aromatic and rich, with one pair of visitors saying their latte and cappuccino show an understanding of Italian coffee. Close behind are the homemade cakes, including a hummingbird cake and a pistachio cake, and one reviewer learned that a family business makes everything itself. Reviewers also praise an original Greek cheese pie as incredible, with one urging others to hurry for one, and a ham, cheese and egg croissant gets a mention at breakfast. Generous portions, good value and a cosy, inviting atmosphere come up as well. Two reviewers single out the clean toilets, one adding that they suit kids, and another says dogs and children are welcomed. Staff are called friendly and warm, and one reviewer says they remember regular customers and even their individual preferences.

“I absolutely love this café! One of my favourite things about it is how the staff remember their customers and even their individual preferences. It makes every visit feel so personal and welcoming. You can really tell that they care about the people who come in, not just about serving coffee. Such a lovely little place with a genuinely warm atmosphere definitely worth a visit! ☕️❤️”

“Four of us stopped for impromtu breakfast. I had a ham, cheese and egg croissant and cappuccino. All food, drinks and atmosphere were superb. Great little place, well worth bypassing the standard fayre when in Banbury.”

“Mamma mia! We’ve finally found a real Italian gem in England! 🇮🇹☕ Don’t be fooled by the simple shopfront. Inside, there is a wonderful selection of homemade food, cakes and Italian treats. We ordered a latte and a cappuccino, and immediately tell that they understand Italian coffee!! The cakes are labelled “homemade”, but honestly, you can tell just by looking at them that they really are. Authentic, welcoming and full of quality. We were genuinely impressed !! Delicious!!!”
