  “First time using golden city after the usual Chinese we use when visiting ayr was closed fried rice with no egg but spring onion was tasteless noodles where swimming in grease bag was swimming in grease as well that they where in beef hot chilli was more veg than beef and son said no spice to it partner enjoyed his son said the salt chilli chips where far to spicy one positive was the portion sizes where massive but”

  “from Gweilo: SO GLAD WE CALLED IN: Had the House Curry which was delicious and came with egg fried rice; plentiful prawns, meat and taste. Its my go to dish for a first visit and I was not disappointed, not spoilt by too much salt either, well worth choice. My son had the Singapore Chow Mein for which he had fullsome praise, it was 90% taste and 10% heat which was perfect he said. Price very competitive, change from £20 which is good. Clean plates all round tell the tale, thanks very much, well glad we called in and met you, great conversation too.”

  “had the best special szechuan a couple of months ago. howevermlast time I had it was a bit too salty. one of the best Chinese takeawys in Ayr. guy at the counter is always pleasant and the portions are very generous. main dish with rice.about £9. normally does me 2 days”
