About Pizzariach
Pizzariach is a pizza restaurant in Aviemore, set in a housing estate a short walk from the main tourist area and next to a chippy. The menu includes a haggis pizza, the Woodland pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza, and vegan and gluten-free pizza options are available too. Pasta and seafood dishes round out the pies, and the fryers handle chips and chicken strips. Pizzas come in pizza boxes with no cutlery, so they are eaten with fingers. The interior is small, with two tables of four chairs each and a couple of chairs at the counter. Orders go in by phone or through an app and website, where family deal options are listed.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the pizza itself, with the haggis pizza called excellent, really thin and fresh, and the BBQ chicken, original, woodland and veggie pies all described as good or delicious. Several mention dietary accommodations, including a vegan pizza sorted over the phone and a gluten free option that drew one group in. Friendly staff come up repeatedly, and one parent recalls the fryers being kept on after closing to make chips and chicken strips for the kids. It is seen as a quick, takeaway-style stop, with pizza served in boxes without cutlery, only a couple of tables, and a noisy fan or oven. The main criticisms are that one visitor found the prices high for a little local takeaway and the pizzas lacking taste in both base and sauce, while another found the counter service slow, with a name called three times in an empty restaurant. One reviewer also notes the app only handles one custom pizza per order. Another points to the chips from the chippy next door as a pairing.

“Had dinner here first night of our trip and it was awesome. Going above and beyond though, we stopped by for a chipper with our kids and it had just closed. The guy from Pizzariach popped out and said, I'm not a chipper but my fryers are still on and I can do you chips and chicken strips if it helps. Thank you, very grateful parents and kids.”

“Dropped in on the way home and we got the woodland pizza and some chips from the Chippy next door. Delicious and recommended. 🤤 Avoid the tourist trap outlets on the High Street, and come here. 🤙🏻”

“We were hungry after a long hike and decided to stop at Pizzariach for some pizza's. They tasted really good and even had a Glutenfree option for my friend(which is why we went here). Friendly staff and good service!”

“Great pizza, and pre ordering is easy unless you want 2 custom pizza's as the app only caters for 1 time of this option. Girl at counter slow and incoherent. Had to mention my name 3 times and when the order was finished she still called my name from the orded. But wait the restaurant was empty.... LOL. I recommend take away....”

“Good pizza, served in Pizza boxes. No clutery. Did not expect that 🙂. I suppose the extractor fan or the oven are a bit noisy. No place to stay for longer but good for a quick pizza to eat with fingers 🙂🙂🙂”
