Customer Review Summary
Travellers stopping off the A9 make up most of the praise, and the food draws the most comment, from the jacket potato with chicken and banana in creamy curry mayonnaise and the paradise chicken to fish and chips, a wrap, a toastie, a panini and a burger. Close behind is the pea and ham soup, which one reviewer says tasted like a grandmother's cooking, along with a fresh salad with fruit through it, desserts and a breakfast described as delicious. Reviewers repeatedly call the staff friendly and quick, and several say prices were reasonable. The huge menu and the choice of drinks, including pints, wine and coffee, are noted. Walk-ins without a reservation were seated quickly, some on the sunny patio, while the inside buzzed with diners who had booked. A larger group had a side room with privacy. No complaints appear in the reviews. Reviewers also mention bowls, water and treats for dogs, and one saw a dog menu.

“This place was amazing. Food was great and very well presented. I had a salad and it was very fresh and crisp with bits of fruit through it. The chicken i had with it was plentiful. Deserts were delicious. Cost was very reasonable!”

“Just been in for a quick lunch on our way from Monifieth to Glasgow and stopped in Auchterader at Cafe Kisa with out a reservation. Was accommodated at a table for four very quickly, staff were lovely and efficient. Food was very nice and drinks which you had a very big choice of both. Cafe was beautiful and even toilets were lovely and clean. Will definitely be back next time I am in Auchterader”

“Called into Café Kisa on a Friday afternoon without reservation. Staff kindly seated us outside in a lovely patio area. Staff were genuine, attentive and took our drink and food orders quickly. The inside area was buzzing with diners who had reserved tables. Our pints were stunning and the panini and burger we had were delicious. I also saw that they have a dog menu for any canine friends.”

“Bumped into this place today while looking for a stopover in Auchterarder at lunch time today. A perfect cafe/ restaurant with good food, pleasant staff and at a reasonable price. The pea&ham soup was great and tasted of my old granny's Irish stuff. I'll look out foe their other places.”
