“1st time using The Lucky House, but won't be the last.. we collected this time but will try the delivery service next time. the food was lovely, good size portions, very tasty and hot, just what you need when you fancy a night off after a hard day, lady behind counter was friendly and polite and the aroma wafting from the kitchen was a delight and promise of what was to come. the complementary prawn crackers and fortune cookies made it Just PERFECT . “We normally get our Chinese elsewhere in town but they were closed, looking at the most recent reviews wasn't sure whether to risk, but we did. Big portions, hot and delicious. The chicken fried rice had huge chicken slices in. Delivery was half an hour which is very reasonable.”

“Ordered a takeaway from here monday night, lovely lady at the desk, told to pick up food at 8:20, however didn’t get our food till just over half past, but we weren’t in a rush so this didn’t bother us! we received our food which was still hot and went back home. Me and my partner found the spring rolls and chicken chow mein very flavourful and would definitely recommend, however upon opening up my thai green chicken curry, unfortunetly the chicken was raw. I find this unacceptable and a real let down since the rest of the food was really nice. This was my partners first chinese takeaway experience and it’s safe to say this has definitely put him off a bit. Maybe will give this a miss for a while, hopefully this can be improved for future visits.”
