  “Been visiting here for nearly 30 years, never been disappointed! Not visited for some time, & on the last occasion visited in August 26, poor service, moaning staff 'as they had a wedding on' expensive food & then charged a service charge without being advised. Emailed their customer service email address via website, no response.”

  “We recently had our small wedding reception here, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue. From start to finish the team (especially Luke!) were incredibly accommodating and made everything so easy and stress free for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they went above and beyond for our special day. The pub itself, and the new marquee they are hosting events in, have such a lovely cosy atmosphere, which was exactly what we were looking for. The food was absolutely delicious, exactly what we wanted, and all of our guests commented on how amazing everything was. Also, they are fantastic at catering for different dietary requirements including coeliac. Luke listened to all of our requests for decor, and executed it perfectly, it couldn’t have looked more stunning! Thank you to everyone and the biggest to Luke for making our big day so special. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and highly recommend them for any events you might be thinking of having! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

  “Working in the area this week and came across this pub. Food is excellent 👌 big plate of ribs, absolutely lovely. Friendly staff, fast service and not too expensive. So nice I came back two nights later and had the same excellent experience. Highly recommend a visit here.”

  “Popped here with my wife & friends to watch the legendary Kev Iverson on Sunday afternoon. Spent a lovely couple of hours in the beer garden listening to a great set & drinking beer on a glorious sunny afternoon. Beer was good. Food looked good & we had a great time. Recommended.”
