“We booked a table based on the online menu. When we walked in there was sport playing loud throughout the pub and the menu had devolved into a burger joint. Someone also thought it wasa good idea to change the name to the hairy lemon. Honestly, don't bother. We walked straight out again.”

“We came here on quite a quiet day to play darts and have a quick bite to eat. The burgers were delicious and the guinness was fab. I love the whole idea of the menu and the stacked burgers/loaded fries etc. Definitely something a little bit cool for alnwick to have and obviously delicious. Staff were friendly. Pub is large so plenty of space although I imagine it can get busy in tourist season! Fab pub and we will be back”
