  “Great little spot & walked there a few times now. Today’s food was definitely not up to scratch. Had a mozzarella pesto panini & side face down was quite burnt. Welsh Rarebit on Artisan bread? Rarebit was tasty but appeared to be on a slice of brown bread? Added poached egg at £1.75 and it was hard boiled no yoke in sight! Mentioned to staff who admitted’a different chef’ today. We had a good 30 minute wait so wasn’t up to sending it back….will assume it was an off day and will go again when walking that way. Expensive disaster today though!”

  “Lovely seaside cafe in Llandulas. Always seems busy, such a good sign! Lots of seats inside and outside. Some sheltered tables in the shade. Wheelchair friendly and dog friendly. You can pre booked which is a good idea at busier times - weekends lunch’s etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Efficient serving. Always let you know if there are all longer wait time due to being busy. Delicious food, generous portions and a wide variety of food on the menu. Would definitely recommend.”

  “My favourite local cafe. Enjoy coming here to meet friends for breakfast and they have loads of gorgeous cakes too. Lovely spot with ample parking. Plenty of seating both in and outside.”

  “Went for brunch with the women’s supporting women group on 20th October. Very quick service, considering I was at a table of 19 women and the rest of the café tables and outside eating area were also busy”

  “Tides is a lovely setting and nice cafe. The serving staff were lovely and the speed of service was good. The breakfast is a level above a bog standard breakfast. Nice thick bacon; fresh mushrooms and tomato's just to my taste; beans and hash brown are nice too. The sausages seem more expensive but not to my personal taste, more Cumberland the traditional. Personally always cut bread in rectangles not triangles.”

  “Tides is a wonderful Cafe Bistro. The food, service and atmosphere is amazing. The owner Becky always has a welcoming smile on her face. The location next to the sea is breathtaking. I highly recommend paying it a visit, you will not be disappointed. Really professional, polite and helpful staff. I was served by Tegan who was an absolute delight. This venue is a real Gem. Pay it a visit and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Tides 😊”

  “We had a lovely weekend in Conwy and wanted to end it on a high with a nice breakfast before heading home. Came across this place which looked lovely on the photos and had decent reviews. Well, we were wrong. The drink orders were completely wrong twice, the food came out at completely different times despite ordering at the same time and we ordered the same things. We had some elderly people next to us playing some comedy show on loud speaker, which triggered a woman on a different table to go tell them to turn it down or turn it off (which isn’t the fault of Tides, but the atmosphere was ruined by it). We did get told it was about a 45 minute wait for food which was fine, but then our food came out, firstly wrong, then the second time came out missing items, then 2 of us got our food and the other 3 had to wait a further 15 mins. In total we waited an hour and 20 mins at least. Wasn’t worth the money or effort to be honest and I’m not one to complain. But this wasn’t a great experience.”

  “We enjoyed a lovely breakfast here this week. It was our first time on our way to Llandudno. The weather wasn’t good and it was only just after opening time of 10am. The breakfast was nicely cooked and presented on a warm plate. Although I’d say the breakfast was more expensive than most it was good with nice produce and a hot drink was included. There are nice seats outside for when the weather allows but not today. Inside the cafe it is clean, modern and fresh which we liked. The washrooms were also clean, bright and tidy. Nice job!”
