About Big Mannys' Pizza, Pittodrie
Big Mannys' Pizza is a pizza takeout on Pittodrie St in Aberdeen, run as a locally owned and operated NYC-style pizzeria. The kitchen makes its dough, toppings and sauces from scratch rather than buying them in. Pizzas come in sizes from a 9 inch build-your-own to an 18 inch, so a single order and a shared one both have a fit. The menu includes the BBQ Big Manny pizza and a vegan pizza. Multi-pizza deals and a feast for one offer are also available for different appetites. The counter finishes with cookies baked in the same style.

Customer Review Summary
Reviews split between enthusiastic fans and disappointed customers, with the pizza itself at the center. Praise goes to the BBQ Big Manny and the pizza base, which one reviewer calls awesome, plus a vegan pizza delivered so fast it felt straight out of the oven. Others mention local ingredients, a feast for one deal, and marinara sauce that worked best with the twists, though the meat toppings and blue cheese were called below average. Several takeaway orders were ready exactly when promised. Complaints are concrete. One delivery arrived lukewarm with undercooked, stodgy dough. Another came through Just Eat with the pizzas carried vertically and squished, and with no phone number to call, nothing could be fixed. Others call it overpriced, with one counting seven tiny slices of pepperoni on a two pizza deal and saying a single pizza would not feed one person. In contrast, another reviewer found the 18 inch size right for two, with leftovers for breakfast the next day.

“Just an average overpriced pizza place nothing special really. Disappointed with the pizza I received especially considering the reviews I have seen about this place and the price of the pizza.”

“Pizza wasn't good, the price we paid was ridiculous for what we got, honestly grab pizza from any other place, we got the 2 pizzas deal and they literally have 7 teeny tiny slices of pepperoni. I mean for almost 30 bucks that was a joke. And 1 pizza won't feed one person. I don't eat that much and even tho I was left hungry. Not recommended”

“Had the feast for one offer, 9 inch build your own pizza with marinara sauce and blue cheese dipping and lil twists with marinara dipping, overall food was ok , meat toppings and blue cheese were below average and they should be better in quality, marinara sauce was the best especially with the twists, prices are quite reasonable”
