Customer Review Summary
Ribs draw the most praise, from the big ribs with chilli, rice and coleslaw on the Cowboy Texas grill to one reviewer who calls them the reason for a visit. Close behind are the pitmaster sandwich, chicken tenders, the Rodeo burger, a juicy steak and the BBQ sharing platter, with macaroni cheese and Key Lime pie also singled out. Portions are described as huge and filling, though a couple of reviewers find dishes expensive, and one says the grill choices suit sharing better than a solo diner. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and attentive. Complaints are specific. One diner found both the pulled chicken sandwich and the chicken and sausage poutine unexpectedly spicy, with the gravy otherwise tasteless. Another disliked the hot honey chicken on the mega feast, and the cornbread arrived ice cold and soggy for one reviewer. One finds the room very noisy even when about a quarter full. When the pulled pork on that feast came with barely any sauce, staff brought more at no charge.

“Ate here with two friends mid week. Had the Cowboy Texas grill, a bowl of chilli and rice with big ribs and coleslaw Stunning. Everyone very happy with their meals. Tastes great 👍🏼 Only problem I found the room to be very noisy, despite being only about a quarter full, would definitely benefit from some acoustic damping.”

“I really enjoyed this restaurant for an evening meal and would recommend. It’s got a great atmosphere and vibe and there’s loads to admire in the decor. The staff are super friendly from the moment you arrive and remain attentive throughout the meal. The range of drinks are in keeping with the theme, but I did feel the range of grilled items on the food menu for a single person were a bit lacking - they’re more geared around sharing. The food itself was cooked well though and the portion sizes represented great value for money. The bathrooms were modern and spotlessly clean too! A great fun restaurant and I’ll be returning.”

“First time at Maggie's and did not disappoint. The BBQ sharing platter was so delicious and the cocktails were great too”

“"The Rodeo" is the best burger I've eaten in Scotland. I couldn't find one better in US or England. There is one place in Brazil with a burger at the same level of the Maggie's burger, so I'm not able to say what is the best in the world. Besides, the staff are very helpful. I'll happily return to this restaurant in my next trips.”
