About Chozen Noodle
Chozen Noodle is a fast food restaurant inside the motorway services at Annandale Water Services. The menu pairs a Pan-Asian noodle and katsu range with a full Scottish breakfast, so the same counter covers a rice or noodle meal and a morning plate. Noodle dishes include beef teriyaki with noodles, and the katsu dishes are served with rice, with katsu chicken among them. Beef gyoza sits on the menu as a side. Breakfast comes in traditional, vegetarian and Scottish versions, plus a breakfast wrap. The traditional plate includes mushroom, beans, bacon, sausage and a runny egg.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly, helpful staff, with several describing servers who were kind, chatty, and clear about an allergy request, and one who stayed to make food after closing time. The katsu chicken gets a "to die for" mention, and breakfast draws steady praise, including a vegetarian breakfast, a Scottish breakfast, and a traditional plate of mushroom, beans, bacon, sausage and a runny egg, all described as fresh and good value. One reviewer liked the beef teriyaki and sweet chilli chicken with noodles, and another found the breakfast wrap decent but not filling for a big appetite. The complaints are about value and availability. One reviewer found most menu choices unavailable on a Monday afternoon, then got a katsu prawn dish with a taste of aniseed and only two prawns, which the staff called the standard serving. Another called it far too expensive, objecting to an extra charge for a small pot of curry sauce. One reviewer was given free samples and advice on what to order.

“Had a lovely breakfast here on our way to Alton Towers. I had the vegetarian breakfast, while my friend had the Scottish breakfast. Both breakfasts were amazing, very tasty, fresh, and nicely presented. The portions were good, and the prices were also very reasonable. A big thank you to Phyllis and Cilyn for the friendly service and for making our visit so enjoyable. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this place!”

“The lady who was working in Johnsonbridge services was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely helpful with my allergy request and provided all the information needed very clearly and her manner was delightful. A really nice lady to encounter today alongside being good at her job. Thank you.”

“Had a long days travel back to Scotland, and there was an amazing woman called Tina who was in charge of the restaurant. She kindly made me some food, even although she was finished and due to close. Such a kind, warm and pleasant lady - if only all customer facing environments had staff like Tina, we’d all be so much happier with our days and nights. Tha k you so much. Food was good too. 🙏🏽”
